VIN# 16285 This bike has been sitting in our showroom for a while. It was purchased from the original owner years ago. In preparation to sell, we removed the exhaust pipe, repaired the bolts. Pulled the cylinder off and the clutch cover to see what’s going on, if the plates are okay. etc. The clutch was stuck, so it was repaired, and the gaskets replaced. Touched up skid plate and side stand. Nice seat, air intake is very pliable. We don’t think there is very much seat time on this bike. Full tune-up, carbs have been cleaned, new fuel line with clamps. New chain, new air cleaner with new foam. We had the cylinder head off; the piston is nice, there are still cross-hatch marks, no score marks, it’s not seized, Left crank bearing where the flywheel is, is perfect. Bike has original IRC tires. Original Suzuki grips. Aluminum fuel tank. Side stand is on the right. We believe this bike is 100% original but for the period correct add-ons, including tail light, Preston Petty endurance light, belly plate, hand made luggage rack with tool bag. Items included are the original NOS Suzuki headlight with brackets and hardware. Also a switch for the light and a wiring harness. These parts came in a box with the bike. This is not a fast bike. Original decals in place. Tiny dent on the upper right part of the tank. A great bike to ride at the AMA Vintage trials, great bike to restore, or every day rider. Motor is stuck, missing tank, missing side covers, pipes are rusted through on bottom. Seat pan is rusty with holes. Missing point cover. Missing some airbox parts. No broken fins. Many parts are in common with the 77-78 Kawasaki KZ1000A LTD. Triple clamps would be slightly different offset. Meters, master cylinder and switches aren't too bad. This piece came from a vintage drag inventory we recently acquired. Not sure if it is from a 1979 or 80 model as the part numbers differ. Motor# KZT00AE079317 We are selling this rebuilt engine for our mechanic, Hilo. Mark II style head, 79 or 80 KZ1000 LTD. This motor has been down to the bare cases. First-over pistons. Everything is nice. Valve job, clutch is good. There is some pitting on the engine case on the top as shown. Motor cases have been vapor blasted. All new seals, gaskets, oil window brand new. No welding, no broken fins. Bolts and hardware have been replaced. all exhaust studs are nice, tachometer drive is nice. This is basically a nice, plug-in motor. A screw on the side has been repaired and there is a small hole, as shown. Does not have an ignition system in it. There is nothing broken, no broken fins. We have everything in stock to finish this motor. Applications:- 73-75 Z1 900 chassis
